Settling it Off Remix →
Can you hear it when you listen to the remix? You know how it sounds like their verses live in three tenses at once: Grandpa’s earest wisdom, Brother’s beautiful skill, and Mom and Dad’s upright courage? This is what it felt like to drink with Mike.

To you, Spain. In my words, a toast to youth.

Release
Today is September 6th, 2011:
My girlfriend was not stirred from sleep by the news. My neighbors perform the same morning cigarette ritual, they have not been spared routine by the Christmas morning playing VCR cassettes in my 7yr old heart.
Be careful, I tell myself. The world get’s smaller on Christmas, like the size of a living room. In it, there is no room for friends or family. Monks...

San Diego 1/23/11
Soft, tender, from the loft. Each moment demanding we bled further. We played without any want to be healed.

Peter Wolf Crier and Retribution Gospel Choir: West Coast 2010 Tour
Can this swell up and spill over into something bigger than the biggest amps and guitars we hang over our most teenage mantles? Can you still get excited about music? If you did, would you share it with someone you’d trust?
Let’s toast every person through the door, play harder with every drink, and turn money...

Every so often you find yourself in college. There, you find yourself on new terms with yourself. Away from home, building a new one. I hope then, as it did for me when, a voice will encourage you to put the hammer down. You’re at home in your need for one, just as you’ve always been, inside yourself. Nick Drake was that voice for me. This, my homage and echo, is…

Rogue Wave and Midlake Fall Tour Dates Announced
The doods are having a blast out East right now w/The Builders and The Butchers and Heartless Bastards. Last phone conversation they were going to see a movie, Peter made me swear I wouldn’t tell. Hey, Paul Blart Mall Cop can’t be that bad right? Kidding. I kid, without further adieu, the Fall Tour Dates:
9/18 Fox Theatre Boulder, CO*
9/19 Granada...

Heartless Bastards Tour Dates
We’re back home and resting for a bit more before heading out with Heartless Bastards. The last tour was great and we hope you can make it out to see us. Lastly, the kind folks at NPR have listed us as a nominee for Best Album of 2010 (So Far). If you have a chance cast us a vote, no doubt we’re an underdog to the Beach House’s of the world.

Friends?
I’m sure we’ve met. Likely shared a drink. Possibly a bar. Brian and I have been on the road for more days than hours, we’ve seen more cities than people, and shared more words than air. I’m tired not fearful. I’m running on something else, though, I’m not entirely sure what; likely whatever interest drove you to read all that’s preceded.

Welcome.
Hello All,
We have just had our Re-release show for Inter-Be. It was a sold out show at the Turf Club and people traveled from the high hills of East Saint Paul, to the lowlands of South Saint Paul, all to Central Saint Paul. We kid. We are however thankful of the many family and friends who were able to make the show, and were excited to host some out of towners. In celebration of the good...
